Registration Instructions

When creating your account please follow these guidelines: 

Name is your actual full name   (ex: John Smith)

Username is a nickname you choose. Other students on the site will see you only by your Username (your Name will not appear on the website).

E-mail is your valid email address. (Please take care to type your email correctly.)

Once you've submitted your registration information you will automatically receive a confirmation email. Please reply to this confirmation email, specifying which school (e.g. Stony Brook University etc.) and which physics or chemistry course you are taking (ex: CHE 101, PHY 101 etc.) Your information will then be reviewed.

You will be informed by email when your account becomes active. You may then log in.

If you provide your actual full name and reply promptly to the confirmation email (indicating your School & Course) your account should be activated within 24 hours. Important

Improper conduct will result in permanent termination of your account and all member privileges.

Improper conduct includes but is not limited to:

  • Misrepresenting yourself during Registration.

  • Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of copyright-protected material available on this website. 

  • Sharing your password with others.

All materials available on this website are protected by copyright. As a Registered Member, you are permitted to make copies for your own personal study only. Any unauthorized use (for any purpose), reproduction or distribution of this material is a violation of copyright law and will be prosecuted. Plagiarism of intellectual property, in particular, will be most severely prosecuted. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any member's account for any reason whatsoever.
